So, the latest news is that our wedding is scheduled for October 23rd, 2010!! NINE months to go! It's funny, some people are like "oh wow, that's soon!" and the others are like, "really? that's far away!" So that would be just one little example of ALL THE OPINIONS people have about weddings. Man, it's just hilarious to me how every one has an opinion.
Oh so you want to know where we are getting married, right? We're not getting married in Bakersfield, but just over an hour away in Springville, California. It is a quaint little town in the foothills east of Porterville. We looked at a few places there (after much Internet research by me, searching for a good deal within 1-2 hours away of Bako), and although both were fantastic and beautiful..we chose a place called Rive Ridge Ranch.

You can check some of them on her website :) (Yes, she edited them and got them all online IN A DAY, how awesome is that??) We love them and we had a ton of fun hanging out with her! Oh and by the way, we also booked Colleen SHOOT OUR WEDDING! I am a big fan :)

I always thought it would be nice to have a 6-9 month engagement! I've heard from so many people that the planning is over before you know it and you're just left waiting... so congrats! It'll be here before ya know it :)

9 months is about how much time I had to plan my wedding too! ;-) And I personally (here comes another opinion! LOL!) think that less than a year is the perfect amount of time. I just couldn't fathom the idea of my wedding date passing and thinking, it's ONE YEAR from today!
